Apparently, happiness is a choice.
Choose to be happy
“Happiness Strategy #5: Remember, Money Can’t Buy Happiness”
Money buys food. Sure, effort MAKES the food but you still need to pay for it first, unless you grow it all yourself. Therefore I disagree with this point.

I think they are just trying to get across the idea that lots of money is not an end-all solution to happiness. Or while you do need to money to be happy, if you have lots of money, you are not necessarily happy.
Note this caveat: “Research shows that once income climbs above the poverty level, more money brings very little extra happiness.” So it’s not that money can’t buy happiness, it’s that contrary to what most people seem to believe extra money buys very little extra happiness. So the accumulation of wealth and more stuff does not lead to being happier, in fact and makes many people feeling empty inside, like they need to keep buying just to feel fulfilled.

I agree with the article. Its title isn’t all that correct. It’s more like “Don’t Let the Bad Stuff Get You Down.”
