Okay, so this post has nothing to do with cockroaches. But it has been a long time since I’ve found the time to blog.

When I started blogging on MT, I was obsessed. I blogged multiple times daily. When I wasn’t blogging, I was reading up on MT. When I wasn’t doing that, I was playing around with custom themes. It entered my unconsciousness, and I started coding html in my sleep.

More than the pleasure I took from learning how to work the design aspects though, was the fact that blogs were the perfect forum– for all those thoughts you want to share with your friends but never get a chance to on a daily basis. Thanks to Frank who kindly installed my blog for me that one afternoon in the labs, I felt connected to the world again.

Now I realize what blogging is a in large part, a substitution. A replacement for all those lazy hours I once spent sitting on the hill in the sun, eating and talking and gripping with friends, getting it all out.
